(New Club Chairman Mick Morrissey (right) shares a joke with Former Leinster Council Chairman Seamus Howlin before the 0ver 40s match last year.)

Following a very well attended AGM on Friday night last (Jan 4th), Mick Morrissey has been elected to the Chairman post, replacing James Quirke who had decided to step down after 2 years in the post.

Recognising the enormous potential within the Club, and the efforts that will be required to maximise that potential Mick spoke of being extremely honoured at taking on the role and promised to do everything he could for the Club.

Mick joined St Martin's in 1989 having represented both Kilkenny & Dublin at Senior level in hurling. He won All Ireland medals at senior in 1992, junior in 1986, U-21 in 1984, minor in 1981 and a National Hurling League in 1987. He served as Chairman of the Coiste na nOg from 2002-2007.
