The U12 boys kept up their 100% start to the season with both teams recording wins over Glynn Barntown in Div 1 Hurling last week in Piercestown. The A team took the field without the Murrintown players involved in the MiniSevens Football Final taking place the following night.
It was a good physical game with our lads getting the crucial scores to win on a scoreline of 5-4 to 2-3.
The B team had a comfortable enough win in their match.

Well done to the senior football team who had a fantastic win against horeswood on Sunday evening in clongeen.
The senior and junior camogie teams had two good wins on Sunday against duffry rovers and bannow ballymitty.

The camogie feile is taking place this Saturday in Piercestown starting a 4pm. Please come along and support the girls.
Well done to the girls of Piercestown NS who won the mini sevens football final last week and hard luck to the boys from Murrintown NS who lost out to a very strong Ballythomas team.
The under 21 hurling quarter final will take place in Piercestown on bank holiday Monday.  Check paper for time.
The coiste committee are trying to sell tickets for Eleanor McEvoy's concert in the theatre royal this coming Friday evening.  Tickets are €20 each and are available from all selectors and committee members.  Please support this fundraiser for the club.
