Our minor footballers played their last game in the league section of the Division 1 minor football championship on Wednesday last. The game was played in Piercestown versus Starlights. Our team put in a very committed performance against the table toppers, who ran out on a 1-10 to 0-7 scoreline. This game was our final game in minor football for 2013, which concluded with  insufficient points to qualify for the semi final stages. However, while it was disappointing not to qualify for the semi finals, our team did play some very good football during the campaign, and demonstrated great spirit and determination throughout.
Our next two games are minor hurling. The first will be played on Wednesday next against Shelmaliers, in Hollymount. This will be followed by a game against Rapparees in Enniscorthy on Monday, August 26th.
The under 14 boys will play St. Anne's in the quarter final in Piercestown on Thursday this week at 7.15pm. All support will be greatly appreciated.

The junior team have qualified for the district semi finals in both hurling and football with both matches coming up shortly.  Keep an eye on the fixtures pages for details.
Finally well done to our senior football team who had a comprehensive  win against Shelmaliers on Sunday evening in Kilmore.  They face Kilanerin this weekend.
