It has been a very busy weeks hurling for the U12 boys. Before they missed out to a late goal in the Rackard League Final on Tuesday night, a number of the boys travelled to Ballyboden on Sunday where they played very competitive games in brilliant sunshine against the Hosts,Kilmacud Crokes and Skerries Harps. The boys finished the day by capturing the Shield with a terrific one point win AET in a thrilling final over an excellent Skerries side.
During the week the lads then travelled to Parc Charman where an understrengtgh A team took on a very good Harriers side and lost absolutely nothing in defeat by a point: 2-8 to 3-6.
The B team then played their hearts out against a mixed A & B Harriers team losing 5-2 to 2-5.
All in all - an excellent few days, for a very progressive group of chaps.

Hard luck to our hurlers who were beaten by Dublin on Saturday evening in Parnell park. They will play Antrim this Saturday in Wexford and we would hope that a big crowd will head in to support them.
Best of luck to our lads involved with the Wexford minor hurlers who will play Laois next Sunday as a curtain raiser to the Dublin/Kilkenny semi final in Portlaoise.

On behalf of everyone in St. Martins we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Emma, Darin, Majella and their families on the untimely and sudden passing of Sean last Saturday evening.  Sean was a great clubman, a wonderful husband, father and grandad and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Ni bheidh a leithead aris ann.  Ar dheis De go raibh a anam uasal.
