Our minors started the 2013 hurling campaign with a home fixture against Crossabeg. Both teams showed tremendous commitment in very difficult weather conditions.  Having played against a strong wind in the first half, we were level at 5 points each at half time. However, the second half saw a significant step up in performance and St. Martins won on a 1-15 to 0-5 scoreline.
Our next game is hurling, in Pairc Charman on Monday, March 18th, against Faythe Harriers. Throw in at 11am

Tickets for the big fight night are now on sale at €15 euro from any committee member. Get them early to avoid disappointment.
St. Martins will host a group stage of the feile peil on Saturday 16th March with the first of three rounds kicking off at 10.30. Our own under 14's will take on Gusserane,St.Annes and Shelmaliers. Please drop in and support the lads.

Our seniors and juniors have made good starts to their leagues and with our under 21's due to be in action soon training for all adults continues on Tuesday and Thursdays at 7.30pm.

Despite the conditions the under 12 boys have had a good start to the season and the lads are putting in a great effort at training on Sunday mornings. Our first matches are coming up over the next two weeks with trips to Rapparees and Ballygunner before Easter.

Thanks to all who paid their membership at the registration nights last week.  If you haven't paid yet do so as soon as possible.

Congratulations to Phil Murphy and his team who won the final of the table quiz representing St. Martins last Thursday night winning a set of jersies for the club.  Well done and many thanks to them.
