Having completed the group phase of the Senior Hurling Championship Group A with a 2-13 to 1-11 defeat to Glynn-Barntown in Wexford Park on Sunday, the Senior Hurlers now face one of the most important games for this team in years when they take on Cloughbawn in the Relegation Semi-Final on Friday at 6.30pm in St Patrick's Park.
Your support will be greatly appreciated.

Well done to all our boys who played for Wexford over the weekend at under 14,15 and 16.
The under 16 team won the shield and we had two players on it Joe O'Connor and Aaron Maddock.

Congratulations to the under 12 A camogie team who beat bunclody in the co. final on Saturday and hard luck to the B team who were beaten by a very strong rapparees team..
The under 14 camogie girls are in their co. final on Friday in Oylegate at 6.30 against Craanford and we would appreciate lots of support.

August 31st may well have been the last day before autumn, but another beautiful day in summer 2013 in Wexford was complimented by another great display of underage hurling when some of the finest U11 teams in Ireland took part in a very competitive Blitz in perfect conditions at Piercestown.
Ballyboden and Kilmacud from Dublin, Midleton from Cork, Mt Sion from Waterford, Dicksboro and Thomastown from Kilkenny, along with ourselves and our great rivals Gorey made the trip to Piercestown - and all went away enthused with the quality of hurling on show.
Great credit is due to all who helped out on the day (too many to mention) - from catering, health & safety, time keeping & pitch organisation to refereeing, (especially the guest umpires - the U12 boys who turned up to help out and support the younger chaps & the U14 girls who assisted in every way too)  it all went off extremely well off the pitch, while on the pitch the boys were giving their all.

While the lads found themselves in the'group of death' with Midleton, Ballyboden and Dicksboro they ended the day with two wins and two defeats, with wins over Ballyboden and in their final game against Thomastown going a long way to compensating for the narrow enough defeats to the Magpies and the 'boro.

Well done to Kilmacud Crokes who won all 4 of their games, beating Midleton in the Final game 2-2 to 1-4.

All of the U12 boys will be out on Sunday next in Piercestown at 10am for the Co Board Festival of Football Blitz, where both teams finish their Div 1 campaigns against Ballinastragh Gaels, Gusserane and Starlights.

Our minors played the final game of the league format of the Minor Hurling Championship on Monday last. We travelled to Enniscothy to play Rapparees in a game to decide who came first in the league format.
The result was victory for Rapparees, on a score line of 1-14 to 0-12. The result means that we will play Glynn-Barntown in the semi final at a venue and date to be advised.
