Our under 9 and 10 boys hosted Glynn Barntown on Friday night and the assembled crowd really enjoyed the hurling on display. On the neighbouring pitch, Glynn Barntown were also visiting to play against out under 12 camogie team and the visitors proved too strong in the end. At the same time, our senior footballers played St. Fintan's and won a good tough game. The final event of a very busy night was the very successful teen disco, organised really well by our in-house juvenile entrepreneurs.

All in the Club wish all our exam students the best of luck this week as they start their state exams. We also wish Jamie Jordan a speedy recovery after her illness and we're delighted to hear she got good news this week. Onwards and upwards Jamie!

Our under 10 camogie team played a great game against St Anne's coming away with a tight win by a single goal. Our under 14 camogie team will play their premier county final against Bunclody in Oylegate at 12 noon on Sunday next. Please come along and support the girls who are also preparing for their Féile blitz day in Thurles on 21st June. A lot of these girls also played with the county under 14 team winning a blitz in Mallow, Co Cork on Saturday last. Congrats to all involved.

Lastly on the playing front,  the senior hurling league match versus Faythe Harriers has been rescheduled for Friday 6th June at 7.30pm in Piercestown.

In the Club Lotto, the giant jackpot of €15,000 remains unclaimed. The numbers drawn were 2,3,9 & 13, Chris  and  Eilish  Culleton won a match 3 prize of €50.
